Chicken biriyani


Hi everyone today iam going to make the mouth watering chicken biriyani with using leg pieces alone.I like chicken biriyani with only leg pieces.Here is the yummy chicken biriyani ready for you.It is best suited with raita.


Ingredients
onion 3
tomato 1
coriander leaves -one bunch
cumin leaves-one bunch
rice 3 cup
water 5 cup
curd 1/2 cup
leg pieces-6 to 7
ginger garlic paste-2 tbs
salt-1 tbs
cinnamon-2
cloves -2
elaichi-2

Step 1: Take a big pan and add 2 tbs ghee with 1/2 cup oil.
Step 2:Add cinnamon,cloves,and elaichi .
Step 3:Cut the onion longitudinally and fry it in the oil and add salt.
Step 4:Always keep it in medium flame and add ginger garlic paste and fry it.
Step 5:Now add tomato after 10 min
Step 6:After the tomato is cooked well add coriander and mint leaves.
Step 7:After 10 min add chilly powder,turmeric powder and stir it well
Step 8:After 10 min add curd and add the pieces one by one.
Step 9:Lower the flame,let the chicken get cooked for 30 min in medium flame
Step 10:Take rice separately and mix it with water and add salt.cook it well.
Step 11:Once the rice is done,take the rice and mx it with the gravy in pan layer by layer.





poondu kulambu


Hi everyone,today iam going to make delicious poondu kulambu.My husband loves my poondu kulambu.My husbands favourite is my poondu kulambu.Even i like poondu kulambu.Usually i used to make this kulambu very spicy but nowadays i reduced the spice content due to health issues.This kulambu is more suitable for white rice.Now enjoy it,,,,,

Ingredients

garlic 8 pieces
whole pepper-1 tbs
fennel seeds-2 tbs
cumin seeds-1 tbs
coriander seeds-2 tbs
small onion-8 pieces or big onion 1/2
tomato-1
oil-4tbs
water -1/2 cup
curry leaves-10
mustard seeds-few
urad dhal-few
tamarind extract-1/2 cup
coriander powder-1 tbs
chilly powder-1/2 tbs
turmeric powder-one pinch
Dried red chilly-2

Procedure
Step 1: Heat a pan in a low flame ,add 2 tbs oil and fry the seeds that is cumin,dried red pepper,4 pieces of garlic,fennel seeds,black pepper,coriander seeds and curry leaves for 5 min.
Step 2:Grind the mixture along with some water in a mixie and make it in to a paste.
Step 3:Now take another pan and add 4 tbs oil and put mustard seeds,urad dhal and curry leaves after the mustard cracks.
Step 4:Now add onion and fry it till it becomes brown and add 4 pieces of garlic along with it.
Step 5:Add the grinded mixture and add chilly powder,coriander powder and turmeric powder and salt.
Step 6:Add 1/2 cup water and increase the flame.
Step 7:After 5 min ,add tamarind juice and lower the flame for 20 minutes.
Step 8:your poondu kulambu is ready.

Indian style Noodles or Pasta


Hi everyone,Today I have come to explain the recipe for yummy Noodles.Its really delicious and mouth watering.you can try this recipe with macoroni product also.It comes out well with any type of pasta products.Whenever i try noodles it never comes out well for me but later i found out the secret.After a lot of try i made my own recipe for noodles.Here it is,,,,,




Ingredients

onion-1 1/2
tomato-2
carrot-1
cabbage-1
egg-2
coriander leaves -1/2 bunch
Mint leaves-10
olive oil-1 cup
ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
salt-2 tsp
chilly powder-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
pepper powder-1 tsp

Procedure:

Step 1: Take 4 cups of water in a big pan and add noodles or pasta to the pan and boil it.Dont close the pan.Add 2 or 3 drops of oil and 2tsp of salt to the boiling noodles.Check after 15 minutes whether the pasta is cooked well.Switch off the gas and Drain the excess water and immeiately pour cold water in the remaining pasta.So that the noodles or pasta dont stick together.

Step 2:Keep the pasta aside.Now take another pan and heat 1/2 cup of oil in the pan.Cut 1 onion and fry it in the oil till brown.Now add ginger garlic paste to it.

Step 3:Now add finely chopped corainder and mint leaves to the mixture.

Step 4:Add 2 tomatoes to the pan.Simmer the gas.Let the tomatoes form a paste.

Step 5:Add chilly powder and turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp salt.

Step 6:Mix it well and put this mixture to the noodles.Stir well with the noodles and keep it aside.

Step 7:Cut the carrot ,onion, cabbage longitudinally.

Step 8:Now take another pan and put some oil over it and heat it.Put the onion fry it well ,add carrot and cabbage.Add salt and simmer it and closer with a lid so that the vegetables are cooked well.

Step 9:After 10 minutes add black pepper,1/2 tsp chilly powder and mix it well.Now add two eggs in to it and mix it well with vegetables.

Step 10:Now add the noodles in to the pan and mix it well with vegetables.Simmer the gas so that the noodles get heated.

Step 11:Now after 10 mintues your yummy noodles is ready.

RAMZAN SPECIAL RECIPE-RICE SOUP (NONBU KANJI)


RICE SOUP (NONBU KANJI)

It is a special dish during Ramzan.My husband loves nonbu kanji which is a rice dish.It is good for digestion since we fast for the entire day. It is very tasty and easy to eat. It is usually served in bowls. It is popular in Tamilnadu and Kerala.For the entire month of Ramzan ,this dish is served in Iftar parties. During the Ramzan month this dish is prepared in huge quantities and served in mosques.

INGREDIENTS

RICE-1/2 cup
MOONG DHAL-1/4 CUP
ONION-1
TOMATO-1
GREEN CHILLI-2
GINGER PASTE-1 tbs
GARLIC PASTE-1tbs
COCONUT MILK-2 tbs
CUMIN SEEDS-2 tbs
GARAM MASALA-1/4 tbs
CLOVES-1
CINNAMON-2 small pieces
WATER-4 cups
CORIANDER LEAVES-few
MINT LEAVES-FEW
SALT-LITTLE
GARLIC -1 small piece
OIL-2 tbs
GHEE-LITTLE
CHICKEN-7 Small pieces

PROCEDURE:

STEP 1: Grind the rice and dhal in a mixer for a minute so that the rice is broken in to two half pieces.
STEP 2: Take a pan and add oil to it. Add little ghee and put the cumin seeds in to the oil.
STEP 3: Add Cinnamon and cloves to it. Put the onions and fry it.
STEP 4: Add ginger garlic paste to it.
STEP 5: Fry it and add coriander, mint leaves and green chilies to it and keep it in low flame.
STEP 6: Add tomato to it and close it with the lid and lower the flame.
STEP 7: Add garlic pieces to it and add coconut milk and salt.
STEP 8: Cut the chicken in to very smaller pieces and add the chicken and lower the flame.
STEP 9: Now add the grinded rice and dhal to it .Add 4 cups of water and pressure cook it.
Now you have the healthy rice soup which is good for digestion.

URAD DHAL CURRY


URAD DHAL CURRY


Ingredients

1.1 Cup urad dhal

2.1 tomato

3.turmeric-1/4 tbs

4. garlic-2

5. drumstick -4 pieces

6. Little salt

7. shredded coconut-2 tbs

8. Green chillies-3


9.Curry Masala Powder: 1 spoon


curry Masala powder : Grind it together


Propotion: (fennel seeds 100gm+cumin seeds 200 gm,coriander seeds-1 Kg)

Procedure:

This urad dhal curry is good for health. I remember the days when my grandma used to give this special curry to me.My mother used to make it once in a month.It is very good for spinal cord.This curry is good with rice.I recommend all the ladies to take it as urad dhal has medicinal value.

Step 1: Boil 1 cup of urad dhal in a pressure cooker
Step 2: Cut the onion ,drumstick, tomato and boil it along with crushed garlic by adding 2 cups of water.
Step 3: Add 1 spoon curry masala powder, turmeric powder and little bit salt to this.
Step 4: once it is cooked well add urad dhal to it
Step 5: Grind the coconut in a blender and add it to this mixture.
Step 6: Take a separate vessel, add oil and put mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Step 7: Now add this to the mixture.

Now you have the healthy urad dhal curry.

coconut sweet or burfi


COCONUT BURFI

I like coconut burfi a lot and it is a very simple sweet to make.It has only four ingredients and the procedure is also very simple .The two main ingredients are sugar and coconut in the ratio 3:5.

Ingredients:

Sugar-3 cups
Coconut shredded-5 cups
Cardamom-5
Ghee-2 spoons

Procedure:
STEP 1:Take 5 cups of coconut and 3 cups of sugar mix it
STEP 2:Fry this mixture in a dry pan in heat.
STEP 3:Fry it till it becomes semisolid
STEP 4:Fry cardamom in oil and put it in the mixture which gives nice fragrance.
STEP 5:Take a tray and coat the tray in ghee slightly.
STEP 6:Pour the mixture in the tray and keep it aside for few hours(1 or 2).

You will get beautiful coconut sweet.You can cut it to any shapes as you want.

FENUGREEK


It is one of the healthiest ancient spices known to mankind. It has strong bitter flavor so it is usually roasted with other spices to give delicious curry. It is a rich golden covering cultivated 3000 years ago in Assyria. It is the most widely grown medicinal plant with a ability to improve the immunity.

These seeds are used in Egypt to prepare tea. These seeds are boiled sweetened and strained and prepared as a health drink. These seeds are also added to soups and as condiments in cuisines across the world. it soothes skin eruption.

A cake dessert known as Helba in the Islamic world is a tasty treat during Islamic holidays. This is a semolina cake covered in sugar or maple-like syrup, and sprinkled with fenugreek seeds on top.

It also serves as a medicine for treating sugar. It also keeps cholesterol in control.
It is believed that seeds help in increasing the milk supply in mother. It is used as a digestive tonic. It is used to stimulate the liver. It is a natural cure for heart burn and acid reflux. It is also used as a medicine for dandruff.

Fenugreek seeds are a rich source of the polysaccharide galactomannan. They are also a source of saponins such as disgenin,yamogenin, gitogenin, tigogenin, and neotigogens. Other bioactive constituents of fenugreek include mucilage,volatile oils, and alkaloids such as choline andtrigonelline.

Fenugreek seeds are used as a herb in traditional chinese medicine under the name Hu Lu Ba. it warms and tonifies kidneys, disperses cold and alleviates pain. It's used raw or toasted.


Several human intervention trials demonstrated that the antidiabetic effects of fenugreek seeds ameliorate most metabolic symptoms associated with type 1 and type-2 diabetes in both humans and relevant animal models by reducing serum glucose and improving glucose tolerance.


Fenugreek is currently available commercially in encapsulated forms and is being prescribed as dietary supplements for the control of hypercholesterolemia and diabetes by practitioners of complementary and alternative medicine.

In the United states, where maple syrup is popular but expensive, fenugreek is widely used in lower-cost syrup products as a maple syrup flavoring such as Mapleine.
